It's not using it as a multiplier! In 2..3 it's translating the two into
two numbers (because no number can have two decimal points of course),
like you were saying 1. and 1.0 would be the same number, it knows you
just left out the 0. And its default is to multipy things next to each
other (like 10x for example)
As for your (2).(.3) check that again.. I get a syntax error, which
would make sense.
