        The subject has changed, but I'm not so sure the topic is dead
yet.  As a teacher, I find it quite interesting, and as soon as I actually
read it all, I'll try to prepare a response (not that I haven't said
enough on the subject already).


        I do agree that we ought to at least change the subject name.  We
are no longer talking about Goatboy's idea to turbocharge the TI-8x series
with a 486 processor and a harddrive.


        Perhaps this discussion should continue on the "GRAPH-TI" list as
it is more philosophical in nature.


        While I much prefer these philosophical debates rather than
discussing how one can turn the calculator into the equivalent of a Game
Boy, the purpose of this list seems more focussed towards the latter.

As for the rest of you.  I've been trying to read all of this mail that
people have had on the subject, and am trying to compile a consensus
opinion of the users of the list, then I'll add my last two cents worth
and get it over with.  Expect this in a day or two.
