I've noticed that for some reason, the vast majority of physics,
math, and engineering majors have an 85, whereas most of the "great
unwashed" sticks with the 82 or 83. Could just be we think in the
same way as the 85.


BTW, I would not refer to the "85/92 format." Quite different
feel between the two of them. I'd even go so far as to say
that the 82 feels more like an 85 than the 92 does.
