I have one suggestion...make sure that you dont have any communications
software running.  I found that I cant access my modem in win 95 if i
have the graphlink sofware running in the background (i have a '92 ...
btw).

You may have some kind of IRQ conflict b/t the two ports, too.  If I go
to Control Panel then System, and look at the properties for the ports,
"port 2" says I have a conflict with communications port 4 (both are
using IRQ 3), but I haven't bothered to try fixing it yet.  One of these
days I'll try when I'm feeling ambitious.  Until then, I just use one
port at a time, and I have no problems.
