Just to give you an update from trying the ideas I've tried via email:
1) I have replaced ALL (5) of the batteries.
2) I have tried removing all of the batteries overnight.
3) I have cleaned the battery contacts and made sure they were making
good contact.
4) I have opened the case and did not see any apparent problems.
5) I have re-attempted (many times) to turn it on and adjust the contrast.
I am at the point where I'm going to need this thing for my linear algebra
course, so I am running out of options and time.
If you have any further thoughts on the matter, I'd love to hear them!
Thanks!!
