People, this is a FAQ. If you don't have a link cable and want to
type in games/programs/whatever by hand, do this:
1. Download the TI-Graph Link software for Windows
or Macintosh
(see http://www.ti.com/calc/docs/link.htm)
(** no, you don't need a cable to run the software **)
2. Download TI-8x/92 programs to your heart's content
(see ftp://ftp.ticalc.org/pub/)
3. Open your *.8xP/*.9xP programs from the Graph Link
software to display/print the code.
(** note: if you find a program in *.8xG/*.9xG format,
it's a grouped file - use the Graph Link software
Utilities menu to ungroup it. Grouped files commonly
contain pictures as well as programs, which means
forget typing that game in manually **)
4. Decide if it's worth typing in; go for it.
I can't stress this enough. You can get the code for any program
yourself, please don't come bothering the list subscribers for
programs in "text format".
Thanks.
