Here's an observation about the size of the TI-92 display; when drawing
bitmap letters and numerals, the most complex letter is S, or 5. You need
an area of at least 5x3 to draw either of these:

Everybody knows that the standard terminal screen, and also the standard
size of a PC monitor, is 80x25 characters. 240/3 is 80. 128/5 is 25.6.
It would seem that the TI-92 makers either happened up on a very useful-sized
display, or had the thought of us using it in 80x25 text mode in the back of
their minds.
