you can get indeglo strips for all sorts of different voltages... I have one 
here that expects 115, it all depends.  anyway, I've messed with the LCD's on 
gameboys and 83's, and I don't think it woule be that hard.. I'll test it on 
my old BW game boy, and I'll get back to you.
