A92: Assorted '92 stuff

Wow, the list has been quiet. School started, eh? :-)

Here's an issue for the community-at-large.

The 92 and 89 are vastly technically superior to the HP48, and yet the HP48
has vastly better software support. I suspect that this is because Hewlett
Packard offers developer support (which TI doesn't even though they claim
to) as well as assembly. We need to get our act in gear, now that GCC is
available to us (no thanks to TI) and overtake the HP community. This
isn't even a matter of competition, because quite frankly I could care less
which calculator is better--it's just the fact that I want the number of
games, science programs, and utilities available to a 48 owner. *grin*

Hey, also, anyone else think that TI has placed themselves into a legally
compromising position by promising all this assembly support with the '92+
module (which they DID--the web page had "ASSEMBLY PROGRAMMING" stamped on
it) and then taking the position that the use of assembly shells voids your
warranty? Sounds a lot like false advertising or bait'n'switch to me.

Everything's better in a tube. Take for example: yogurt, spaghetti,
pierogies, mustard and Cool Whip, chicken.
