A92: serious help here please
I'm a fairly good programmer (being very modest here). I sit here every
day watching the world pass and watching all you guys go into weird
ideas, this and that. It's driving me up the wall. I know like 7
languages, and thought (very stupidly) "eh, I don't need to know
anymore," but it seems that I can't get ahead in what I need to
accomplish without having full knowledge of the 92 asm. Could someone
(maybe even 2, 3, or even 100 people) please help me and teach me
exactly (bit by bit) in detail, how to do 92 asm. I have tried to read
all the help files, all tutorials, and everything I could find, and I
just have NO clue what it's about (plus since I'm an electronics person,
I like to know the commands by binary form). I know some of the
commands like ADD, ADC, blah blah blah, but I just don't see how I can
place them all in a 92p file and send it to my calculator. Another
thing I'm not to sure of (actually, I have no clue of these things
either) is that of the VATs, FATs, or whatever you call them in
calculator world (I hear several terms), and also of the ROMcalls (which
I thought were simple, for the commodore you had a chart, it said
"SENDCOM," it had address to call it, what to place in the variables,
and what is returned, and which variable returned an error if one
occured--it also contained a small paragraph of what it does, and 2
sample code with great comments on what it was doing. Now you get a
cheesy "_createprog, HL is length, CD is location," length of what, my
code or the code plus other stuff, location for what, the code or just
where i plan on putting it (just used as an example, not exactly quoted
from the source)).

in dire need (i hope i spelled that right)
