There have been many requests concerning the release date for [i3]:

The web page has said that a semi-working copy would be released April 2.
This was a projected date and subject to change.  I do not have a copy of
[i3] ready for any release stage.  The web page will be updated for the
correct release date.  I can't say right now, but I hope to have something
within the next week.  Perhaps the Easter bunny will be delivering it!
