I could make a device similar to the extender that I am already working on
that would recieve a packet of three bytes from the calculator that would
contain the desired status of 24 of the 25 pins on a parallel port.  Then it
would read those 24 lines to see if they have changed, and if they have, send
back a 3-byte packet containing the pin status.
Please send any ideas/suggestions.

P.S. as far as directly printing the file on the extender.  I've run into a
few problems because the 92 uses a different character set than the standard
ASCII table used by the printer.
