In a message dated 97-12-27 18:25:09 EST, you write:

be
fixed in the later ROM versions, like 1.12. >>
I have ROM 1.12 :) I used to have 1.11 thats why I know about its problems...
As for generating errors, here's one simple way to do so:
(You should be in full screen mode before you do this)
1) First make a new program that has nothing except Input abc (or something of
the such)
2) Run the program
3) At the input open the catalog and from there press mode (you use catalog to
bypass the fact that you can't normally get into the mode menu you from a
program)
4) In the mode menu turn on top-bottom split mode and change the two screens
to Y= editor and Program editor.
5) Exit the mode menu
6) Enter in your input
7) Try pressing 2nd+Quit or turning it off and on
You'll get a "Internal Error" which by my guess means that the calc has found
something that it doesn't know what do with. You can get some really weird
results if you play around with steps 1-7 changing a few things here and
there. Changing other mode options of messing with var-link while the prog is
running can give you some strange results. I think there was a different
error that I got when I was screwing around with it, but I don't remember. I
also think I mailed the bug to TI along with a bunch of other stuff I had to
say about the 92 ... they said they forworded it to product development. I
also tried the same thing on my 83, but it didn't let me get into the mode
menu even through other menu's. Anyways, just wanted to show that the 92
isn't crash proof, even in basic.
Have fun crashing your calc,
