I had this problem too.  You probably have Rom version 2. If you do, you can 
get an edited version by ExtendeD at 
www.multimania.com/extended/AMS_2.0x_pack1.zip. (Thanks to Kevin Kofler for 
the info). Now, SF2T works perfectly for my rom version 2, AMS 2.05, 
Universal OS calc. It still crashes a lot though.
