It all depends on what you're looking for.
TI-83/83+ -
These calculators are very good if you're only going to be in
courses such as Algebra 1, Plane Geometry, and Algebra 2.
After those, the features tend to get skimpy for things such
as calculus and statistics.
TI-85/86 -
Plain and simple: more features than the 83/83+. Better games
if you're into that sort of thing. I'd recommend these for higher
up high school mathematics.
TI-89 -
Okay, this is the top mutha of all TI calculators to date. It has an
enormous amount of RAM in it, built-in ASM language support,
3D graphing capabilities, and some great apps out on the web
for it. This is best for all math courses including college math!
