A89: something wrong with Doors on 2.03/HW2?

 FunkyELF:   i can't get my calculator to play any games at all 
 FunkyELF:   its a brand new ti-89 
 FunkyELF:   i install the DoorsOS and all that stuff 
 FunkyELF:   but the calculator freezes and then i lose all of my programs 
 FunkyELF:   i don't know whats wrong 
 TurboSoft:  reset your calc first, then install Doors 
 TurboSoft:  make sure that you are using the right version 
 FunkyELF:   the right version of what? 
 TurboSoft:  Doors 
 FunkyELF:   could it be that i updated my software to version 2.03? 
 TurboSoft:  maybe 
 TurboSoft:  do you know the Hardware version of your calc? 
 FunkyELF:   no, how do i find that out? 
 TurboSoft:  when on the Home screen, press F1 and go to About 
 FunkyELF:   version 2.00 
 FunkyELF:   which version is yours? 
 TurboSoft:  okay, and right after you install Doors what does it say at the 
very bottom (in the status bar) 
 FunkyELF:   let me install it real quick 
 FunkyELF:   should i put on the graphlib file thats in the hw2 folder? 
 TurboSoft:  yes 
 FunkyELF:   and then i just type in doorsos() 
 TurboSoft:  yes 
 FunkyELF:   ok, right now there is a picture 
 FunkyELF:   then do i just hit any button? 
 TurboSoft:  yeah 
 FunkyELF:   it says
DoorsOS II 0.95 installation successful
at the bottom 
 TurboSoft:  okay 
 TurboSoft:  you should be set to go then 
 FunkyELF:   thats what always happens, then when i try to play a game it 
freezes 
 FunkyELF:   and i have to wind up taking out the bateries 
 TurboSoft:  it just froze? 
 FunkyELF:   thats what it does if i try to play a game now 
 FunkyELF:   usually 
 TurboSoft:  try playing a game 
 FunkyELF:   do you know of any way of getting the old software version back? 
 FunkyELF:   because i went to <A HREF="http://www.ti.com">www.ti.com</A> and 
installed their version 2.03 advanced matematics software 
 TurboSoft:  l think that there are a few sites that have old ROM versions, 
but l think you should stick with the one you have 
 TurboSoft:  has it locked up yet?

 TurboSoft:  okay good 
 TurboSoft:  what all do you have on your calc? 
 FunkyELF:   i just got rid of everything 
 FunkyELF:   so i could install doors again 
 TurboSoft:  okay 
 TurboSoft:  now install a game and play it 
 FunkyELF:   it just reset itself 
 FunkyELF:   i put on some periodic table program and it deleted itself 
 FunkyELF:   i mean it crashed and deleted everything 

l told the guy l'd post this here, because l had no idea what was going wrong.
