well, since the inverse tangent of infinity is pi/2 I suppose you
could say that pi = 2*arctan(infinity). (you can type that in on your
calc and it will give pi.)
there is a series representation for pi as well, but I don't remember
what it is and you don't get to that until you work with series (calc
2, maybe higher).
