That's the best way to put it that I've ever heard! AOL is not that good as a
standalone ISP, but it is really nice to have some features that don't require
a complete knowledge nuclear physics to use. I LIKE double-clicking on mail to
get it, typing stuff, then clicking send to reply. Ever try and get the Inbox
to work?
But as far as the calculator goes, it would be nice to use AOL as an ISP.
There are several advantages:
1. AOL has lines going to almost everywhere. Take your calc on the road! Calc
crahes on your vacation to Oklahoma? Download Tetris again at the next motel!
2. It's the only dialup ISP I'm ever going to get. After this it's cable modem
time. :)
3. AOL's servers do a lot of work, so it might be possible to implement IMs
and other features with VERY little code. :)
Well, OK. #3 is a stretch. :)
