well i was just searching through ti-89 puds at ti-files and noticed a little
program called "get connected. " 

\"A Great program that will allow you to connect to the internet via an
external computer modem, a special adapter, and a phone line. View your
webpages and download programs right from your Calc! "

that is the description of it in the pud,  and it is supposed to be due out
march of 99.  the maker is Ivan Mckvoil=mckvoil@iname.com.  just letting
everyone know.  maybe mail him to find out if it is serious,  or he can tell
you it can be done,  and stop this whole debate.
