RAM is memory that can be directly accessed by the
processor and written to or read from at any time.
When there is no power, the contents of the RAM
are erased. Archive memory is extended memory
that must be accessed through paging. It can
retain it's information without power, but can only
be edited a certain number of times. The majority
of the TI-OS is in the archive memory. Flash
upgrades go into archive memory.
