It gets further from the truth with every passing. . .

What I heard was that TI sent Nagel and a few others (one of the ZShell
guys) special flash-ROM 86's to beta test - that was BEFORE the 86 was
released.  Not a new calc, but actually a beta of the 86 before it hit the
shelves. . .
