Slashdot said something about these being loosened recently -- previosly,
the Playstation 2 would have surpassed the US Gov't's "supercomputer"
definition and not been legal to export (were it developed in America).
However, if the encryption was handled by TI-France or developed outside the
US in other ways (I'm not sure how this works), US crypto laws don't apply
anyway.
