I totally agree with the subject.
Anyway, to not make this just a pissed off comment:
Couldn't the Ti-OS be fooled by having a browser that itself runs other
programs?
Then the program that's run by Ti-OS would be a small browser (<8kB) and
the browser just happens to jump to an "unspecified address" that happens
to contain a program. :-)
Possibly relating to this I think that TIs website mentioned that flash
applications will have two licenses; one free, that's limited to max 8kB
apps, and one commercial, that's unlimited, but AFAIK you have to pay to
get a commercial license.
IMHO, restricting free software can only hurt TI. The recent questionable
handling of HWv2, AMS2.0 and FLASH licensing have broken my respect for TI.
I guess I should've bought a HP... :-)
