SMQ runs fine for me...I use speed 10 (it's more like the real game), and
I turn grayscale off.  Screw grayscale.  It's Mario!  He doesn't need
grayscale!  Also, it helps to have the documentation-suggested amount of
memory free, so don't go loading up on levels and other games without
archiving them.
