On the original TI-92, the calc was unstable after apparently being taken
out of remote mode by taking a battery out, because it is still sending
output to the link port, just not waiting for input from the link port.
Anything that causes the calc to run out of memory and give a TI-Basic
Error: Memory will instead just crash the calc. Perform the procedure to
enable remote mode again in order to disable it completely and re-stabilize
the calc. This is according to David Ellsworth's ti-bugs.doc file. Also, my
TI-92 didn't APD when it was in remote mode.

Well, after leaving my 89 on for another 10 minutes, I decided to take a
battery out. After I turned the calculator back on, it was out of remote
mode and my programs were still there...
