When a game is 'ported', it means that the source code is slightly changed to allow it to run on different calculator models. This can take as short as 5 minutes, or as long as 6 months depending on the type of conversion (TI-92 programs would take a long time to port to the TI-80....IF it were even possible!), and/or the speed of the person/programmer.

Many programmers would rather write their own programs, than port someone else's.
