The TI-89 is allowed on all AP tests that use a calculator, It is even on the
list of calculators that are expected on AP Calc. Starting next year. If I
remember correctly you also will not need to clear the calculator before or
after the test, ETS started providing pages of equations because so many
functions are in new calculators. On of the reasons I bought on was to use it
on ETS tests (otherwise I would have gotten 92+.) The main reason test makers
don't some allow calculators is to stop cheating. The only test that allows
calculators, but not the TI-89 is the ACT (They added a no CAS rule, but they
still allow the HP-48g, explain that) This information can be checked at
