Well, the rom is what stores the operating system (OS) for the caculator.
When you turn on your caculator the processor looks at the first byte in ROM
to see what to do next. What we need to do is break down the current rom to
see what's in it and what we would have to do to change it, then find a way
to put a modified rom back on the caculator.....
