um about turning your calculator back on after you just turned it off 
that just happens sometimes on all the calcs.  I have had that happen on 
all my calcs.  But about the pausing or slowing up is because you 
batteries are really low and you have a lot on your calc.  I suggest 
that you go buy some brand new batteries and you will see a change in no 
time.
