Re: A89: Re: Holy god what did i do???????
My computer has 4 COM ports, and I can use all of them at the same time:
COM 1 - internal ISA 33.6 modem (inline)
COM 2 - external 9-pin (attached: Velo502)
COM 3 - external 9-pin (attached: USR V.90 56K modem (outline))
COM 4 - external 25-pin (attached: TI Graph Link)
Everything works fine when I'm receiving a fax while the Velo is connected to the internet through
the USR modem and sending a file to my 89.
COM 2 & 4 don't necessarily share IRQs, and neither do COM 1 & 3. On my computer, I have them set
up so I can use them all at the same time. It's very helpful.
