Uhh, no, you don't just plug headphones into the jack. There are three main
ways of hearing the sound (in order of what I think is best to worst):
1) Build speakers - they're easy to make and cheap. For information, go to
http://calc.ml.org/ and look in the hardware section.
2) use a 2.5mm > 3.5mm converter so that you can plug headphones into the
TI linkport.
3) Use an AM radio, and place it near the TI-89
