[A86] Re: Async Link Routine
Hello,
Right. I'm not talking about using the graphlink software. I'm
takling about using the graphlink as a protocol converter to get RS-232
bytes in and out of the calc. So I've got custom communications software
running no the calc, and something other than the graphlink software on the
PC. The programs need to send data back and forth at random intervels. The
problem that I'm asserting is a consiquence of this heavy back and forth use
of the RS-232 link. in normal use with the "graphlink software",
communication with the calc is syncronous and mostly one way, therefore this
problem doesn't come up. (At least this is my current theory. I'm open to
alternate stories)
thanks,
