You're right. It's really not Linux's fault. Sure, it's got some problems,
but 2.4 is looking very nice. It's Linux running on x86 hardware that just
wouldn't fly. You can cluster machines with Linux on x86 boxes up to a
point, but after a while you hit that wall where it's just better to buy
some high end hardware from Sun on IBM. Solaris is more mature than Linux,
and arguably easier to get suppport for as well.
