Heh, there's no way Linux could handle anything as large as AOL...
I would imagine most of AOL's servers are very large Sun boxes running
Solaris, or are IBM mainframes running AIX (or most likely a combination of
the two).
Sure, AOL might look like it sucks from a user's perspective, but when you
think about the sheer number of users it has to handle at one time (probably
at least 20-50 million), you've got to have a pretty impressive setup.
