A86: brian, quit it!

you just keep ranting and raving at how bad www.ticalc.org is. you're not
putting up much proof that i've seen (i believe you though). i think it's
run similiar to the way russia was over organized by their communistic
efforts:  the coordinators, who "rule" and control every aspect of the
www.ticalc.org beaurocracy with an authoritarian view of obedience, claim
to be bettering the ti calculator industry.  the only flaw in your
communist argument is that they are not claiming to share goods and
services equally. i have seen no where on www.ticalc.org that "everyone
has access to everything...take what you need and give your all". no
where! they don't meet the definition of communism. they don't even meet
russia's perverted view of marxist-leninist because they don't advocate
the overthrow of any capitalistic efforts. there isn't even a proletariat
to overthrow!

so www.ticalc.org is bad, ok i'll give that one to you. now what is to be
done about it? can anything be done about it? is it so wrong that they
censor some information? i know it's not free speach but it is their
server; they have the final say as to what gets published and what gets
deleted. by agreeing to membership, you agree to abide by their rules.
there are disclaimers everywhere at their site. when they sent me the
hosting info, it was a contract of several pages. in it, they talked
about questionable material and remarks. they tell you from the start
that they won't put up with any abuse.

so, really, what has www.ticalc.org done so wrong? can you make a list so
we will all be informed? i would greatly appreciate it if you would spell
out their faults? they are still the best service (with
www.dimension-ti.org in a close second) out there. i know no other equal.
if they were to crash like your communist russia, where would we be. so
they've automated the system, taken out the human touch, this could lead
to more features. everyone seems to be getting by as is.

i was never a part of your ordeal with www.ticalc.org. i know nothing
outside of the numerous frivolous postings on the asm86 list. they seem
to be getting you no where. you are almost acting like a child, calling a
big bully names from a distance which keeps you out of their reach. do
you really expect www.ticalc.org to respond to your postings? if so, what
do you think they will do, hand over the server to you? they've got
better things to do than respond to comments on all their lists.  did you
think that they may not be responding because they aren't listening? you
may argue that you are making a difference, but, to some, the only
difference is the prolonged download time of the asm86 daily list loaded
with your insults.

from the dates listed for many of www.ticalc.org's transgressions against
you, it seems months ago. have you done anything since but sulk?

if i am wrong in what i am saying, i can only offer my apologies. i may
not then have the full story. i am only, like many others on this list,
frustrated at your wasted attempts at insulting www.ticalc.org.

you are no doubt an great programmer. you have released numerous projects
and have done much for the ti commmunity. i commend you for your efforts,
but i urge you to move on from this matter. you are accomplishing
nothing.
