Please... shut up! There is nothing wrong with this conversation! And there
is no way that teacher will ever ban calcs... there are teachers that are
inherantly against them since everyone who has them out in their class plays
games on them, but they just don't let you use them in their class. Every
teacher with half a brain knows that there are games on graphing calcuators,
but the thing is, it's not that big of a problem. Some students play games
instead of listening, but they end up getting screwed. It's not an epidemic,
and the worst thing that could happen with the proliferation of radio
networks is that SOME students might get their equipment confiscated, as
radios are against the rules in most schools. However, a smart person who
puts the radio in their backpack and discreetly runs a link to the port, and
keeps attention to himself at a minimum, shouldn't really have this problem.
This radio thing CAN be done in some way, and there's nothing wrong with
talking about it. If you're gonna go around telling people to not talk about
it and "it's just a CALCULATOR" and all that junk, just delete this thread.
