All depends on your point of view.  Try to write a program that uses 16 or
32 bit numbers for most operations, and you might change your mind.  68k
makes it easy to do more complex stuff, because it has a wider instruction
set.  However, it's quite different from x86, being a Motorola cpu.  If you
know one, you should be able to learn the other in a weekend.
