A86: Equation Variables

In a project  I have been doing in between Styx "roadblocks" (I can't
think of another word to describe it), I have been working on another
prog that needs to use equ variables (or something similar, just so that
if, say, y=2x, and I increment x, the y changes too.)

Any ideas on how I could accomplish this
