what he downloaded i think is probably asm86 or whatever that program is.
makesrc is some thing you write in dos. open up the dos box, then point dos
to wherever you got the file makesrc, and type makesrc filename. and that
should make it. i don't remember but i think that that makes a basic layout
for a game. and you are much better going with

don't know if im gonna get in trouble for the html, but anyway,
http://www.stupidzone.com/asmstudio/ this is an all in one
compiler/editor/sprite editor, its got it all. its pretty good. instead of
writing your game on notepad, or something you write it in the program, with
the click of the button it will compile it. i think thats all. let me know
about other questions about what i said, or if i am wrong. i been into my 89
for a while, i kinda forget stuff. later
