probably not.  if you do the quick willy program in hex like this:
:AsmPrgm
:C3C11A
(jp $1ac1)
on any rom version other than the 1.2, it will crash.  i suppose the string
_might_ still be there, but i doubt it.  i've tried that on a lot of
calculators (every time i walk into a staples :)
