well first off the $ symbol indicates a hexadecimal number, check old mails
to learn about this. some kid described how it works. i haven't seen any asm
tutorials with what they mean in basic. but go to www.acz.org to find some
really good tutorials. there are like tons there. and some are easier to
read than others. but most importantly just sit down in a quiet place and
read the tutorials. and reread and reread until you get it all. it makes it
alot easier to learn it. thats what i am doing to learn 68k for my 89 right
now.
