In ASE 1.0 (0.9 doesn't even lock I don't think), you could get around the
lock by turning the calculator on (you get the password screen) and then
pulling and replacing a AAA battery.  This will cause the calculator to reset
the stack (and sometimes contrast) and return to the homescreen (garbage
from the password program will still be on it).  The memory remains intact
and you are at the homescreen.
