yeah, i'm really sorry about this.  i fixed the program, and have thoroughly
tested this one.

anyone who is willing to give me a second chance, i'd really appreciate it.
i'm almost done with this automatic contrast changer, and all i need is to
make sure that it works for all different battery levels.  i've literally got
a copy of the final program that works for my specific battery level (fresh
batteries). i just don't know if it works for others.  please help so we can
all benefit from this.

just run the program, then hit any key.  send me the number it displays, then
delete it.  simple as that.
