Hmm, strange no one else replied yet.  There is no call that I know of, but
on rom version 1.2 (probably all the others) the version is in text at $2725
(i.e. it is the string "1.2" [and it's preceded by "Enter self test?"]).
There's probably an actual number located somewhere, but I couldn't find it
anywhere.
