thank you for voting.  votes were overwhelmingly towards 3-d graphics and
freeware.  as a "reward" for voting, you will have the following edges:
    * beta testing. if you want to do this, send me another e-mail.
    * know the program in advance.
        there will be multiple modules because the game won't fit in a
        single program.  these are named as follows:
            sc2k (main program - very small - loads modules)
            sc2k_KEY (handles keypresses)
            sc2k_GFX (contains the sprites which are huge)
            sc2k_SIM (contains simulation logic)
            sc2k_OPS (load, save, new, title screen, etc.)
            sc2k_CHT (optional add-on module for cheating and
                                    easter eggs)
            it should be about 28KB without the cheat module.
    * you will know how to engage the easter egg and you will be in it
