The easiest foolproof way to reset (unless the interrupt handler is
corrupted or interrupts are disabled) is to remove one AAA
battery, press ON, replace the battery, press ON, remove the
battery, and press ON again.
That sounds funny, but it does work, and there is a reason for it.
When you press ON the first time after removing a battery, the
calculator returns to the homescreen and repairs the stack and
disables the user interrupt. If, for some reason, this was
unsuccessful, replacing the battery and repeating the procedure
will reset the calculator. The first one's software. The second
one's hardware, (triggered by the ON interrupt).
