Yeah that VManage does a lot of strange stuff...Just pressing Enter to delete
a program like you normally would causes the Alpha character to appear...l got
a garbled Delete All screen and screwed up var names more than l did that
memory error...what is the point of changing the var-type unless it really
changes it?  changing from a vector to a list gives long cells with bold-type
base characters, and PRGM <-> STRING doesn't really do anything either...
