what if you just used the regular calc-to-calc cable and set it up so that the
mouse just continuously updates the x/y coordinates?
make a really good TSR that actually shows a mouse-style cursor moving on the
screen, but for regular (Basic?) programs it would just update the x/y
coordinates.  Maybe the TSR would read off of the x/y coordinates, too.
