They were referring to the slow refresh rate (update) of the LCD. When you
play a game with fast graphics or that scrolls the screen like Sqrxz the
entire screen blurs. This is because the LCD is not refreshed fast enough.
A faster refresh rate would allow 3D games to look reasonable as well.
