RE: A86: Tamagotchi?
The battery drain would be more than slight if it were running when the
calc was off. Although the LCD screen could be turned off, if the processor
were running, it would take from 1/4 to 1/2 of the battery power that the
calc would take when it was running. You'd have to change your batteries
every week.

Of course it could work. It can run while the calculator is off or in the
OS through interrupts. That way, you can use your calculator for other
things without killing your tamagotchi. Maybe have it pop up every once
in a while for food or attention or what-not while the calc is on but doing
something else. The only problem would be other interrupt controlled
games (sqrxz for instance). There might be a slight battery drain while
the calculator is off and a slight decrease in processing speed when on,
but these would be minimal. I say, if anyone's interested, go for it. I
per-
sonally would not be one of your users though (I'll stick with sqrxz).
